Welcome to Issue 6 - I hope you enjoy it!
Good-time Charlie is an irregular newsletter containing items that I hope will be of interest you, our readers. It is based on eating, drink, music, fun stuff and well … good times!
Good-time Charlie
Well it’s been a while since you read this august newsletter and time flies - what with Christmas, New Year and generally having a great time in Lockdown 3.0 but we are back!
Truth is I have been having a Good Time working on digital collages and rather lost track of the time – but then I guess we all have!
See the gallery to date at https://www.unacceptable.me/gallery/ - it is updated regularly so keep checking!
Jim Haynes
Having been a leading light in the Counter Culture of the Sixties, Jim Hayes moved off to Paris in 1969, from where he ran Sunday dinner parties – an invitation available to literally anyone. Just phone or write to put your name on the list. Sadly Jim passed away earlier this year so here is a suitable memory of him. His biography - Thanks For Coming- is a great read and insight into a remarkable man.
The ultimate host
Penny Mosaic
Having surveyed the state of her hall, American jeweller Kelly Graham decided to make a mosaic out of 7,500 US pennies – the result is an inspiration to all who are stick at home with a pile of loose change!
This is even more time consuming – than a jigsaw
56 Ways To Beat Boredom
Here is an article from the Guardian in which lots of people you may or may not have heard of keep Lockdown boredom at bay.
Keep Calm and Carry On - and on and on …
A wonderful article from The Handbook, considering what stupid old tosh, disguised as rather poorly thought through restrictions to keep you safe, that the Government will try and foist on unsuspecting and undeserving drinkers - as and when public houses reopen.

Drinking – in a restricted fashion … again?
A look at the hedonism that was Studio 54 and the alternative way of socialising at home in the 1970’s that may just take off again - as the likes of the nightclub seem to be consigned to history. Sadly, I have a love of 1970s cookbooks and ‘How To Throw A Dinner Party’ guides, even owning some of the fine publications mentioned.
Fondue Parties – is that what the future holds?
Here are a few recent images from Unacceptable Me, that should provide an alternative to acceptable eye candy.
Are you ready – to be disappointed again?
Well that wraps up Issue 6, until the next time … thank you for your support
